Stars fall down from the heavens and grace the world premiere of The Other Guys at Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City, Monday, August 2. Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg latest action-comedy movie is finally open to the movie critics and fans for some early movie review and glimpsed. The festivity was jam-packed with the fans as well as Hollywood and New York finest stars that walk in fame through the yellow carpet rather than the traditional red carpet.
Only four days to go and the movie will hit the U.S. cinemas that will surely put to right what is anticipated about this movie. Fans get excited about this film that rumored to pay a big tribute to the comedic and legendary duo of Martin and Lewis of early 50’s. The legendary duo was said to be the first to explore and master the hilarious comedy act between a straight and a funny partner that for years have been seen to entertain successfully the moviegoers, same features seen to buddy-cop-movies. The Other Guys was no different to that genre in which parodies the buddy-cop-movies that follows Detective Allen Gamble (Ferrell), a forensic accountant who's more interested in paperwork than hitting the streets, and Detective Terry Hoitz (Wahlberg), a tough guy who has been stuck with Allen since an unfortunate run-in with Derek Jeter who plays himself in the movie. Both of them idolize the city's top cops, Danson (Dwayne The Rock Johnson) and Highsmith (Samuel L. Jackson), but when an opportunity arises for the Other Guys to step up, things don't quite go as planned.
Ferrell is one funny guy who has his own comedy trade mark and Wahlberg is one rising action star, tough and explosive. Together they blend the contrast between them to bring a humor infused action movie for its anticipating moviegoers.
